Pain in a tooth and/or Sensitivity


PAIN IN A TOOTH BECAUSE OF A CAVITY: 

Remove the food residue from inside the cavity and make inside the cavity clean. Put some clove oil in it. You can buy dental clove oil from chemist. Be careful too much clove oil will irritate your gum. Sometimes cold water helps to ease the pain for a short period of time. Contact your dentist.

PAIN IN THE TOOTH BECAUSE OF INFECTION IN THE JAW:

 If you bite on a tooth and it hurts severely then it is possible that there is an infection in the jaw bone. Take pain killers and contact your dentist.

Teeth/tooth Sensitivity to Cold

There can be several reasons for sensitivity to cold. the most common ones can be because of hard tooth brushing and/or a large cavity in the tooth. But there can be other reasons as well like receding gum (periodontitis), grinding teeth (bruxism) and bad bite (mal-occlution).

Teeth/tooth Sensitivity to Hot

The most common reason for sensitivity to warm drinks and food can be the nerve inside the tooth (pulp) has become damaged (inflamed). Contact your dentist as soon possible for a check up.
