Denture Repairs in Worthing

If a denture is broken, damaged, loose or no longer fitting as it did, an assessment can establish whether a repair, reline, addition or replacement denture may be appropriate.

This is a private denture service at the Clinic for Implant & Orthodontic Dentistry in Worthing. Not every denture can be repaired, relined, added to or converted, so the denture needs to be assessed and your mouth will be examined where necessary before work is agreed.

What can be assessed?

If your denture has broken

Do not use household glue or attempt a DIY repair. Keep all separated pieces and bring them with the denture.

Repair, reline or replacement?

A repair addresses damage to a denture. A reline changes the surface that fits against the mouth and may be considered when the fit has changed. An addition alters an existing denture where this is clinically and technically appropriate.

Some dentures cannot be repaired safely or predictably. In other cases, the condition or design of the denture may mean that replacement is the more appropriate option. An assessment is needed before a recommendation can be made.

What happens after you contact us?

A clinician will assess the denture and, where needed, your mouth. Before work is agreed, we will explain what appears possible, whether laboratory stages are required, the likely timescale and the expected fee.

We confirm the likely timescale after assessing the denture. Same-day repairs are not available.

Fees

Our Fees page currently lists a denture repair, addition or reline at £140. The final fee and recommended option depend on assessment. Any different or additional work, including a replacement denture, would be discussed separately before proceeding.
